Susan Sung, M.D.

Evaluations for Exceptional Outcomes
Radiology Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sung to our group. Currently completing fellowship training in breast imaging, Dr. Sung will provide locum tenens coverage until joining us full time in the summer of 2008. She will provide expertise in the area of womens imaging, in all facets of breast imaging including mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI, and biopsy/aspiration procedures. She will also be a valuable asset in the area of obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound and MRI. It is with great anticipation that we look forward to working with our new colleague.
Her special interests in diagnostic radiology include:
Mammography
Breast MRI
Stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsies
Obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound and MRI
Dr. Sung earned her medical degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed a transitional year internship at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE, and Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She then returned to the University of Chicago, and is currently obtaining additional fellowship training in breast imaging. She will join Radiology Associates in the summer of 2008. Dr. Sung is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
