Growing up in Appleton, Dr. Fred Panzer is dedicated to helping implement advances in diagnostic imaging in Northeast Wisconsin. Dr. Panzer serves as President of Radiology Associates of Appleton and Director of the Breast Center at Appleton Medical Center, the newest and busiest breast imaging facility in the Fox River Valley. The Center provides patients with high-quality imaging and breast intervention, including mammography with computer-aided detection, ultrasound, MRI and core biopsy.

His special interests in general radiology include:
   • Oncologic imaging
   • Percutaneous biopsies and drainages
   • Breast imaging

Dr. Panzer joined Radiology Associates of Appleton in 1987. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, and completed his internship and residency at the University of Nebraska. He is board certified by the American College of Radiology, and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the American Medical Association.
